AOH Councils

The Purpose of the AOH Councils

Inspired by Jesus Christ, the Late Bishop William Thomas Phillips,
founder of the Apostolic Overcoming Holy Church of God, envisioned a
vehicle through which ministers, missionaries, teachers, and other
leaders of the church may have continuous training in the Word of God
and in the enhancement of their leadership abilities. Thus, Ministerial
Councils were established in various districts. The main purpose, then
and now, is to provide training for effective leadership, witnessing,
and proclaiming the doctrine of Jesus Christ, the teaching of the ONE
GOD, and related ministries
